NC Jobless Rates at 17-year low

North Carolina’s jobless rate remained unchanged at a nearly 17-year low of 4.1 percent during August, the N.C. Commerce Department reported Friday.
There was little notable activity during the month, with Commerce reporting a net gain of 13,400 private-sector jobs and the loss of 5,000 government jobs.
