“Seller Says” -

33 and 35 White Owl Drive, Candler NC

In Fall/Winter you can see Biltmore Estate from porch!

The things I love about Candler is the location to all surrounding areas. You have the privacy and feel of a small town within short drives.

We LOVE to eat at Haywood Smoke House, Clyde's Restaurant and Pioneer Restaurant. Close by grocery stores are Ingles and Food Lion.

It seems Asheville is always in the news for its sights and restaurants and folklore. Candler is a short, 20 minute drive from downtown Asheville and not far from Cherokee (Harrah's Casino), Pigeon Forge, Maggie Valley for family day trips.

My son grew up in this house and our family will always consider this our home. We start each day with a cup of coffee on the deck (weather permitting) watching the rabbits playing in the grass, and a regular group of deer pass by. Most evenings we watch the sunset over the mountains and we drift off to sleep to the chirp of crickets.

We love the smell of the dew on the morning grass and the way the fog settles over the mountains we are surrounded by. Several different types of fruit trees share their bounty. We love to grow seedlings in our mini-greenhouse and watch as they thrive in the rich, mountain soil.

There many species of wildlife to observe and bird-watching is a past-time we do as a family.

Neighborhood is a lot like Mayberry, clean and green and no crime.

Power company is Progress energy.
