The things we love about Burnsville are it’s a small friendly town with great shopping, craft fairs,yummy places to eat, an inexpensive movie theater, great parks for kids to play, and so much more!
We love to eat at Bubba’s Good Eats (great BBQ and sweet potato fries), The Garden Deli ( great pasta salad), Western Sizzlin ( seafood bar on Friday is delicious), and of course McDonald’s (our kids love Happy Meals)
There are many conveniences about 20 minutes away from our home in Burnsville. There are two grocery stores: Ingles and Go Grocery. There are a variety of consignment stores that sale anything from books, clothing, furniture, and much more. There are more well known stores like Roses, Dollar General, and CVS. However, one of our favorite stores is Monkey Business/ Something Special.
When we bought the property we were drawn to the house being move in ready with beautiful hardwood floors, a gorgeous fireplace, lots of space inside and outside, and great potential to have a finished basement.
The Burnsville area is a great place to enjoy a unquie town with friendly people that offers affordable amenities in a rural area.
A few other things that we can mention are you’re about an hour from Asheville, Spruce Pine, and Erwin, Tennessee. Also, you’re less than 10 minutes from Guy’s General Store, Fire Department, Bee Log Elementary, and the garbage dump. Another great feature is gazing up at the night sky (the view of the stars are extraordinary here).
We love to watch the wildlife from the comfort of our front porch ( enjoy a variety of birds, turkeys, and lots of deer).
We enjoy going to Mount Mitchell’s State Park to explore the trails. Also, we like going to Spruce Pine to gem mine.
Our neighborhood is very quiet,has beautiful scenery, and very peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great place for kids to explore nature and safely play outside.
The home is very well insulated making it easy to heat in the winter and cool in the summer. Also, Burnsville is a great place to purchase oil ( Riddle Oil) you have the opportunity to have it delivered right to your front door or for a discounted rate you can haul your own.
