The things I love about Broad River Township is the fact that we are in between the City of Black Mountain and Hendersonville. Close to Asheville and of course we love Chimney Rock and Lake Lure being less than 10 minutes away.
We love to eat at La Strada in Lake Lure with view of the lake. Also, the Lake Lure Inn has great food and bar. Also, Esmeralda Inn has great food and of course there are many food places in Chimney Rock.
We grocery shop at Ingles. There is one in Lake Lure and also in Hendersonville and Black Mountain which are about 20 -25 minutes away. There is an ABC store in Black Mountain, Lake Lure and Hendersonville.
We love our property because it is very private but near enough for our needs. We love the area cause we are in the woods, yet not far from the big city. There are 200 acres of vacant land behind us that last time we checked, was a bird sanctuary.
Lower Flat Creek Rd is a state maintained , paved road and the school buses pick the kids up in front of their homes.
We enjoy fishing, hiking and the lake. We enjoy all the outdoor places to fish, hike, and if we want to take part in Asheville events, we are not too far away.
Our neighborhood is great for peace and quiet with friendly people. You will hear nature and listen to the creeks on the property.
Our utility cost are much lower since we have brand new, energy efficient heat pumps and water heater. We have Duke Energy for Electric. We own the propane take so we can take advantage of shopping for the lowest price of propane. Our water is very cold and great tasting from our deep well.
