Hendersonville is such a great little town, people are friendly. We are close to Asheville yet far enough away to have that small hometown feel.
Restaurants that are close to us that we love include the great Papa's and Beer, the fun Hannah Flannigan's, Hot Dog World and the wonderful cultural experience of Haus Heidelberg.
We have many options for grocery shopping such as: Ingles, Publix, The Fresh Market, Harris Teeter, The Hendersonville Co-op and Walmart.
When we bought our home we were immediately drawn to its mountainous location with close proximity to town, and a great safe old fashioned feeling for the kids, although there are not many children in our neighborhood. The Hendersonville/Asheville area is wonderful for raising a family, with great family values and awesome schools. There are plenty of options for recreation based on your preferences.
Something we love about our home is the porch in the back. There is a nice stream in the back you can listen to while enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine. We have a great storage room that allows for seasonal storage without the need for a separate storage costs.
The third car garage downstairs allows for additional vehicles or hobbies. We enjoy the cultural museums located around the area. The WNC Air Museum is located in the heart of Hendersonville boasting various aircraft and history. There is a train museum downtown as well as the Henderson County Heritage Museum located downtown in the historic courthouse, they are both full of information on the rich history of the area.
