“Seller Says”

We love Hendersonville because it is the perfect blend of mountain living and small city charm. Picturesque downtown Hendersonville has many great restaurants and wonderful shops to choose from.

Laurel Park is part of Hendersonville and is a smaller upscale community with wonderful neighborhoods and many beautiful views. You definitely want to check out Jump Off Rock which has endless views of mountain ranges. A Perfect spot to view the sunset over the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our favorite restaurant is West First Pizza, which is on W. 1st Ave. off of Main Street. Everything is fresh and organic. The menu is excellent and there is an outdoor patio for eating most of the year. Other favorites include Mezzaluna’s which has great Italian food ( The cheese moons are a must ). And Champa’s restaurant is a great place for Thai food… But there are many more options.

There are many grocery stores to choose from nearby. There is a small Ingles at the bottom of the mountain, and a few minutes further and you’ll find another large Ingles, Harris Teeter, and a Publix is getting ready to open even closer.

I love how the home is nestled into the side of the mountain with beautiful views. The lower level of the home also has great views with lots of windows. Also, the driveway is not steep as you sometimes find with mountain homes, and there’s only one step up into the house.

We love the mature landscaping with large oak and maple trees nearby. The fall colors are spectacular here. Our home is wonderfully situated in the mountains where the temperature is usually at least 10° cooler than down below. With only a short five minute drive to downtown Hendersonville and half an hour to downtown Asheville, it’s perfectly situated and close to everything. Asheville airport is only 20 minutes away.

Our home would be fitting for so many different people! Single floor living with the master on main is very convenient, and the second master suite downstairs would be great for visiting family. The comfortable media room is a great place to get away with a movie, just outside is the large six person hot tub with different stations that work on different parts of your back! There’s also a deck with a fire pit just past the hot tub for stargazing and cooking marshmallows with the family.

The home would also be great for a younger family with children with lots of quiet places for privacy and large areas for family gatherings and entertaining.

Gardeners will love the solarium and the rich topsoil that was delivered into the backyard. Sprout your own seeds and plant them out back if gardening is your thing. The garden kitchen is a great craft area and could be turned into a second kitchen if you wanted to separate the upper and lower levels .

Hendersonville is a great area for people who love the outdoors. Waterfalls, mountain hikes, beautiful day trips, horseback riding, zip lining, white water rafting and more are all nearby.

Beautiful and eclectic Asheville is a city of art theater and beauty, and is a short drive away. Of course everyone is different, and our home is perfect for those who love crafts, gardening, or if you have a dog, there are two dog doors that can be opened to give your four-legged friend access to the fenced in backyard.

We live on Echo Circle, which is a Small loop road that connects with Echo Drive and Echo Lane. It has very little traffic, and makes for a great place to walk with overhanging trees and homes nestled into the woods.

We were surprised when we moved to Laurel Park that utilities were so inexpensive. Everything here runs on Electricity, and the average bill is about $120 per month. That includes electricity for the hot water, furnace, Hot tub and everything else. Morris broadband is our cable and Internet provider.
